Mead from Dansk Mjod (Denmark) Mead!
Scandinavia’s “Honey Wine”, is a native drink of Scandinavia, made by fermenting honey mixed with water. Many meadery’s have fun with different expressions featuring fruit, spices, grain or hops. Dansk Meadery from Denmark does just that and we’re thrilled to share several selections. Each expression is served in a 750 mL bottle ($48) and is on the stronger side, so order a bottle and share with friends like you would a bottle of wine!

Aquavit
Scandinavia’s “Water of Life” is a spirit distilled from grain or potato. One might say it’s a distant cousin of gin, but features more rich and earthy notes from the herbs and spices that would be found in the northern countries. Caraway and dill are the “main event” here. Try an ounce or two and taste the rich warmth of Scandinavia! Or try a flight of two or three and see which is your favorite!
