Welcome to the Descendants Brewing Company at the Old Ship Inn. We hope you are safe and well during these trying times. We want to thank everyone for your continued support.
We truly hope you are enjoying the meals and brews we’ve been proud to provide over the past long months. There’s so much going on, and we want to make sure you know what’s happening here at the brewery.
As the days and weeks continue on, we’ve been working hard on renovating our bar and redecorating our space, getting the brewery back on track with a new tap system, expanded menu, and a renewed focus on the Brewery and our extensive Whisky selection now rated as one of the best in the region with over 250 represented from all corners of the globe.
We’re so happy to be open 7 days a week. We recommend reservations as our seating is still quite limited. Our new merchandise is available for purchase at the brewery as well as on the new website. T-shirts, polo’s, hats, pint glasses, goblets, and growlers with our new Descendants Brewing Company logo are available in all sizes. Each piece is adorned with our new slogan: “What’s Your Story?” We’re looking forward to earning yours as it will always inspire each new step.
We’re really excited to announce the start of Family Night each and every Wednesday for guests dining outside. We now have an expanded kids menu, and kids 12 and under eat for free with the matching purchase of an adult entrée, burger, or sandwich. Most of you have seen us with our 3 little ones attached to our sides as we’ve worked through this, and we want all of our guests to know how much we value family here at the brewery.
And finally, we want everyone to know how hard our chefs have worked to transform our kitchen into a scratch kitchen. We’re proud to make nearly every dish from scratch with the best and freshest ingredients. We’re in an interesting place between our traditional Ship Inn menu and Descendants menu, and we’re giving our chefs the opportunity to explore new ideas and discover what new specials will complement our menu.

Descendants Brewing Company at the Old Ship Inn is the first in New Jersey since prohibition to brew beer for consumption on-premise. It provides a family-friendly European pub atmosphere in the scenic Delaware valley. Enjoy craft-brewed ales, ciders, and homemade, Europe-inspired foods with locally sourced ingredients.
With the original Victorian tin ceiling, exposed brick and beams, hatch-board tables and nautical fixtures, and an English-style brewery, Descendants Brewing Company at the Old Ship Inn is a unique place to meet friends, host club gatherings, or hold family events. We offer casual, family-friendly dining and provide simple, homemade food from local sources.
